Concrete Laborer

Our amazing Concrete Team is growing and we’re looking for a skilled individual to join our crew!

The JKT, Development Inc., Concrete Laborer performs a variety of labor tasks and operates small hand-held tools and equipment to support the daily operation of residential and/or commercial concrete projects. Duties include, but are not limited to, site preparation and measuring, digging, staking, loading/unloading of tools or materials, and working with concrete.

This is a full-time position working 4, 10-hour shifts.

As a Laborer, you will:
  • Digging trenches, moving materials, placing concrete, assisting in finishing, cleaning tools, placing form boards, and carrying and placing rebar and steel reinforcements.
  • Build and set up forms.
  • Assist with concrete pours.
  • Level and finish concrete.
  • Maintain job site cleanliness.
  • Operate small hand-held power tools.
  • May operate small equipment including power trowel, spin screed, dump trailer, and forklift.
  • Assist in grading and staking for site preparation.
  • Follow both written and verbal instruction given by project leads.
  • Assist supervisors and finishers on concrete projects.
  • Comply with Federal, state, and local regulations, including the appropriate use of PPE.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety and work practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What are the Required Qualifications for this position?
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Effective time management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication, must be able to speak clearly
  • Ability to travel including but not limited to jobsites and suppliers
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to successfully pass criminal background investigation
